EMAG is one of the longest running electron microscopy conferences in the UK and attracts international speakers as well as a large part of the UK microscopy community.
EMAG 2016 will be held in the North East city of Durham, which boasts two world heritage sites (Durham Cathedral and Castle) dating back to the Normal period. The conference will focus on Quantitative Electron Microscopy, in particular its application to imaging, diffraction and spectroscopy. Several distinguished invited speakers will present the state-of-the-art in their field, alongside contributed oral presentations as well as poster sessions. A trade exhibition will also be held for delegates to explore the latest advances in instrumentation, as well as a conference dinner in the 11th century Durham castle.
Abstract submission is now open and we look forward to seeing you in Durham 2016!
